Microsoft SCCM Engineer

SWC Technology Partners is seeking to add a full-time Microsoft SCCM Engineer. This individual will be responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, performance optimization and troubleshooting complex SCCM solutions within customer environments. Additionally, this individual will execute project implementations within their areas of technical expertise. Typical responsibilities for this engineer may include the maintenance, troubleshooting and deployment of Office 365, Microsoft SCCM, SCCM-VM, Hyper-V, Active Directory, Windows Server, network switches, routers, firewalls and storage technologies. This position reports to the Team Leader.

Your Role

•Remote system implementations, administration and troubleshooting of Microsoft solutions including SCCM, ADFS, Active Directory and Office 365 from our Oak Brook office
•Installation of software package deployments such as Windows 10, Windows Server 2016, Office 2016, MS Security Updates, etc.
•Hands on experience with cloud solutions such within Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, or private cloud solutions
•Provide install support with Microsoft patch rollout to Windows Server infrastructure
•Stand up the infrastructure to support a Citrix XenApp / XenDesktop and Microsoft Remote Desktop Support (RDS) environments
•Communicate with clients in a highly professional and timely manner
•Occasional Chicagoland on-site client support and project work
•Attend internal training to develop your skills and grow with us

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
•3-5 years of experience installing and supporting the Microsoft suite of products; specifically, in the Windows 10, SCCM, Active Directory, ADFS, RDS, Office 365 and Azure or AWS cloud environments
•Ability to build, deploy, implement, and support Microsoft system issues and identify solutions in fast-paced environment
Intermediate knowledge of network protocols, configurations, and operations
•Excellent communication skills, professionalism, positive attitude and desire to learn
•Must be open to local travel to client sites
•Experience working in a consulting environment is preferred
•VMware VCIX-CMA and/or VCIX-NV certification a plus
•Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer
